Urgent maintenance is required this evening in order to complete works on some core network elements which are currently introducing sporadic latency and loss spikes to certain internet destinations.
While our team have worked tirelessly to minimise impacts by making changes within the network, it has become clear that due to bugs introduced in firmware updates completed in our 23/01 maintenance window, we need to rollback firmware on some network elements to eliminate the root cause.
This work will be completed overnight tonight, and while we will be completing the rollback on one device at a time, there may be periods of reduced connectivity while routing propagates and device changes are completed.
We apologise for the short notice for this window, however ensuring full stability for all customers on our network is, as always, our priority in these situations.
