Resolved

Traffic volumes have continued to be at normal levels and no adverse behaviours detected.
Primary traffic paths are back in service after an initial disruption which will be investigated further.
If you are without service, we would recommend turning off your router for 5 minutes, turning back on and waiting 2-3 minutes.
We apologise for the interruption to service to impacted customers.

Monitoring

During this incident, primary paths were able to pass traffic with stability again, thus were returned into service.
Primary paths and normal traffic paths have been restored and traffic levels looking as expected.
Our team are continuing to keep under observation to ensure service continuity. If you are without service, we would recommend turning off your router for 5 minutes, turning back on and waiting 2-3 minutes.

Problem Identified

Some customers in the South Island may be experiencing slow, or interrupted connectivity due to a fibre cut.
Traffic has been re-routed and services will be restoring as backup paths propagate.
Our team are continuing to investigate outage to primary paths.
