Traffic has now been moved back to normal primary paths successfully.

Problem Identified

Primary fibre fault has been resolved and primary path is available for use again.
We will be moving South Island traffic back to the primary path between 12am-5am 12/12 (tomorrow morning).
There may be a brief interruption to service and change to routes as traffic moves back to primary paths.

Problem Identified

Fault on the primary path has been confirmed as a fibre cut and field techs on-site to datacentres for investigation.
Services remain stable on backup paths. If you are without connectivity, please attempt to restart your router by powering off, powering back on, and waiting ~5 minutes.
Next update once we hear further information on fibre cut impacting primary path.

Backup path is reporting normal traffic levels and we are observing service restoration for impacted customers.

We have identified the root cause as a fibre cut impacting our primary path between Auckland-Christchurch and is being investigated by our service partner.

Our primary path between Christchurch-Auckland has been impacted and under investigation.
Routes and connectivity is moving to our backup path automatically. Services may be degraded while this is occuring.
