Our upstream vendor has now confirmed that fibre works impacting our primary path out of Hamilton have been completed. This link has subsequently been tested and brought back into production as our active path.

Maintenance

We have been advised of urgent maintenance taking place by an upstream vendor in relation to our primary backbone to the Hamilton area.
Vendor is completing major works during 09/03 - 12/03 of moving physical fibres as part of a network relocation project. These works also relate to the previous Hamilton impacts experienced. We apologise for the short notice of these works as a result of the upstream vendor.
Our engineers will shortly be shifting traffic to backup links to the area to mitigate around these works.
During the maintenance period, our Hamilton network will be running on reduced redundancy and capacity as a result of shifting traffic to backup links.
While we do not anticipate extended impact to customers, any reduced capacity will impact customers on TFF/UFF circuits, and customers with IP Transit or Layer 2 services in the Hamilton area.
