Urgent maintenance is required on a network element within our Christchurch chc2 facility in order to rectify a hardware fault which has been detected as part of our proactive monitoring.
New hardware has been prepared, with this maintenance being conducted in order to move physical fibres to the replacement network element.
A brief outage is expected as traffic paths reshape, estimated between 1-5 minutes. This will impact the majority South Island UFB connections being established in Christchurch, and services hosted out of our chc2 facility.
