Hamilton Service Impact (hlz1) - 15/04

Resolved

Primary paths are now back in service after fibre repairs overnight, traffic has been moved away from our backup path, and is flowing at normal levels.

Problem Identified

Works have been completed overnight including excavation, new fibre lay, backfill and splicing. Our primary paths to hlz1 are now operational and stable.
We will be reverting traffic to traverse our primary paths today. A brief service disruption may be expected as traffic moves back to primary paths.

Monitoring

All services have been restored through a temporary workaround solution to establish connectivity.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and return to full service once one of our paths is back in operation from suspected fibre strike.
