This issue was opened retrospectively.
During the time between 1:30am and 7:30am this morning, users may have been intermittently unable to authenticate any new internet authentication requests due to a backend issue with one of our authentication servers.
This means for any internet connections attempting to authenticate for service may have been without service for periods between the time window advised. Any users who had a connected service prior to this event, and their modem/router did not disconnect and subsequently attempt to authenticate, would have continued to have uninterrupted service.
This issue has been identified and is now fully resolved.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused, and will be investigating and implementing any changes in order to ensure this doesn’t reoccur.
