This issue is now fully resolved and investigations taken place.
The routing daemon on device pe1-162.akl had experienced a failure which resulted in routes not being received from or distributed to the rest of the network.
We will be further reviewing this failure to determine whether a software update is required and/or any maintenance required.

The affected device has been restarted and services affected are returning to normal service.
A core router at our 162G datacentre has experienced a routing failure, engineers are working to resolve now.
