Morning all. Outages with copper ADSL& VDSL are continuing to affect the Temuka and Geraldine areas.
The Temuka Free WiFi has been switched to a slightly slower, but more reliable connectivity method to allow the public access to Internet. Data caps have been lifted.

We are aware of many customers on ADSL or VDSL who have interrupted, or no connectivity.

Morning everyone, we understand the frustration and inconvenience these outages are causing to yourself, your families and your businesses south of the Rangitata river.
Unfortunately all ADSL, VDSL, UFB and Rural Wireless continues to remain offline for all customers with RBI being our only current means of connectivity.
We have been working with Chorus throughout the night, and their teams are working as best they can, however unfortunately are unable to make any fibre break repairs until they can gain access to areas currently under road closure.
This is an unprecedented event in NZ, and we are doing everything we possibly can to get our customers back online. We appreciate your patience during this time.

Chorus is currently experiencing an outage with xDSL (ADSL & VDSL) services across the South Island, impacting multiple areas.
